Ramin Bahrami was born in Tehran, Iran in 1965. He began studying tombak at the age of 10 with Master Amir Naser Eftetah and Later with Mahmoud Farahmand when he joined the Centre for Preservation of Persian Music. He has performed with renowned musicians and toured in Canada, US and Japan. He has studied graphic and art and helped in production of the majority of Persian concerts in Vancouver. Ramin is one of the founders of Nava, Kamand & Kereshmeh Ensemble and he teached Tombak at Nava Art Centre. Ramin is a Proud Recipient of Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal.
